Mohsin Khan
Chair - Dr. Mohsin Khan
"Mohsin works in forensic psychiatry as an NHS doctor working in London. He has previously worked in Oxford and Buckinghamshire, and has experience in the Department of Health, the House of Commons, and at a major health think tank. As a doctor, he has a strong belief in the NHS as a public service, and the rights for all to have access to quality healthcare.
He has appeared in national TV and press, and continues to appear in news media commentating on health matters. He helped co-found a non-partisan health campaign group, working constructively with parliamentarians and think tanks across parties as its Chief Policy Officer. Mohsin also serves as a school governor. He also has experience in campaigning, having successfully worked with London Lib Dems to ensure robust enforcement of public health measures, and worked closely with junior doctors during their contractual dispute.
Within the Lib Dems, Mohsin sits on the Federal Policy Committee, is a Chair of a Regional Policy Committee, and has sat on English Council for many years. He has served on a number of national policy groups. He has considerable experience in creating or helping with policy motions, including on BAME issues ranging from health to justice. In his spare time, Mohsin enjoys travelling abroad, exploring new cuisine, and going to new plays."
